Junior and his friend Mr. Man are looking for their forever homes together. They both have light tan and dark brown colors, with dark blue eyes that stare into your heart making them look identical from each other. These two boys found themselves homeless at a local overcrowded shelter and made their way to our lifesaving Center, where they are proudly looking for a new home. They could be cat-friendly with other cats and best with older children. They are both neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccinations. November is Adopt a Senior Pet month and these two handsome boys are both about that age. If you are looking to add a kitten to your family, they are $25 off their fees in November with the coupon on our website. Visit our Center to fall in love with a homeless pet!
Minnie is a very lucky girl after being adopted recently. Here is what her new family had to say about her:
“I wanted to email you all to provide an update on Minnie, now Gracie. She is just the sweetest dog, but gets a little mouthy when she’s all riled up. To help take care of this, as well as learn our basic commands, we are starting training classes. Gracie loves going in the car, walking at the park, and playing with her toys. Turns out she is a power chewer, so we’re working on building up a stash of nylabones and trying to dissuade her from chewing on her leash. She loves smelling everything and running around the backyard. She has started to put on some weight and has a great love for breakfast and dinner. She had her first grooming experience and was very curious but well behaved. She’s all finished with her meds, and while she still tilts her head sometimes, she seems to be less clumsy as the days go by. Glad it was just an ear infection!
I’m sure she’s had a rough time this past month with all of the transitions in her life. It had to be difficult leaving her home as an owner surrender after 3 years – assuming that she was with the same person for her whole life thus far…I am looking forward to her getting comfortable in my house and trusting that she is here to stay. With a little work, she’ll learn some manners and we will have even more fun together. I think the fact that she now lets me give her belly rubs is a sign that we’re headed in the right direction 🙂 Thanks for letting me take her! Enjoy the attached photos.”
Have a great life Gracie!

Cairo was one of the lucky dogs who found their forever home last year. Not only has he found a perfect home, he is acting as a therapy dog for his mother while she goes through chemo and battles breast cancer. He has made a huge impact on her life and here is what his mom had to say about him:
One year ago, Providence had a small, injured Min Pin named Stetser who needed a forever home. I fell in love the minute I saw him. Today, he goes by Cairo and he romps and plays and loves every person and dog he’s ever met. Except for the slightly visible scar, you’d never know he had the injury and FHO surgery. He is loved and spoiled and makes my heart happy every day. A few months ago, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and have been going through chemotherapy. Cairo has been the perfect therapy dog; everything is easier when you wake up to his happy little face. So, thank you! You have made my life a lot more complete.
We are truly amazed at the happiness a once homeless dog, has brought to her life. Imagine the wonderful things these homeless pets can accomplish once we find their true purpose in life. Every dog has a purpose and Cairo’s is to stand by his wonderful mother when she needs him the most!
Say hello to Mr. Grayson, the super kind adult cat who hasn’t quite found his place in the world yet. He has soft, gray and white fur and eyes that are loaded with wisdom. He was rescued from an overcrowded shelter and brought to our lifesaving Center, where he is hoping someone will love him one day. Mr. Grayson is very special; he has FIV, but that does not mean he’s any less amazing of a pet. He is just a little different than everyone else, which is totally fine. He would like to be in a home with older kids. Mr. Grayson has a sponsored adoption fee, which means he is free to a good home. Kittens are 25% off their fee in November with the coupon on our homepage. November is Adopt a Senior Pet Month and senior pets like Mr. Grayson will be waiting to finally get their forever homes!
