Saraphina is a beautiful Great Dane who we rescued from a southern overcrowded shelter. You could tell by looking at her, she had her fair share of puppies in her day, as well as being completely blind. She is fitting is perfectly with her new family.
Here is what her dad thinks she would say to us if she could talk:
“Hi my name is Saraphina but they call me Fina for short. I have been moved around a few times the last couple of months and not really sure why, but it seems like where I’m at now is really a cool place!
It has three people that keep giving me the command of “easy” all the time so I don’t bang into things.
You see I’m blind and have a bit of a hard time getting around.
I also seem to run around a lot more than before and the grass under my feet seems to go on forever and ever.
This place also has a big furry dog name Pepper (12 year old Newfoundland) that has been really patient with me, but I still don’t understand why she doesn’t go on the long walks with me. Then, I also hear a name being called of Cosmo (2 yr old cat) but I haven’t yet gotten to meet him, you would think I was really big or something.
Oh, did I mention the daily food I get 3 times a day; you would think I was under weight. It’s so yummy.
I’ve got to say, I’m having fun learning all these new commands and I’m just so happy for this place. It feels like I’m fitting in just perfectly.
Thank you to all the people who helped find my forever home and who took care of me when I was down on my luck- especially my 1st mom. Lindsey you’re the best
Love and Licks,
Have a great life Fina!
