Basic Obedience Training
- Michelle Frumento, CPDT-KSA, CNWI, of Your Mannerly Mutt, Inc. is hosting an intimate class with force-free, positive methods. Skills learned in this 4-week class include basic commands and loose leash walking. Classes are held on Wednesdays from 12-1pm at Providence Animal Center, in Media. To sign up, contact Dayna Villa at 610-566-1370 x 229 or email Dayna. Dog must be at least 6 months old. Pricing is $100 and a full donation to Providence Animal Center.
- Debbie DeSantis, CPDT, of Going to the Dogs Obedience Training, will be hosting a 6-week basic obedience class for a $140 fee. Classes are held at Christ United Methodist Church, inside Fellowship Hall, located at 2900 Springfield Road in Broomall. For registration, contact trainer Debbie at 610-344-7799 or email@example.com. 10% of the class fee is donated back to Providence Animal Center.
Canine Good Citizen Training
Debbie DeSantis, CPDT, of Going to the Dogs Obedience Training, will be hosting an 8-week Canine Good Citizen training course for a $200 fee. Test included. Classes are held at Christ United Methodist Church, Fellowship Hall, located at 2900 Springfield Road in Broomall. Puppy Group Training
Providence Animal Center now offers drop-in puppy classes for pups ages 8-25 weeks. Proof of age-appropriate vaccinations and pre-registration is required. The fee is $100 for 6 classes, which are held Fridays from 6-7pm. You have 8 weeks to attend 6 sessions – where your puppy will play with other puppies and you will learn about puppy behavior and training. Classes take place at Providence’s Adoption Center, in Media. Please contact Dayna Villa, CPDT-KSA, at 610-566-1370 x 229 or email Dayna to schedule your puppy for socialization class.
PLEASE NOTE, for safety purposes, we do not permit the use of retractable leashes, prong collars and shock collars for any dog on our campus, including those taking part in our low-cost behavior services.
