Group Training Classes
Providence Animal Center offers puppy classes for puppies aged 8-25 weeks. Proof of age-appropriate vaccinations is required. In this class, your puppy will play with other puppies and you will learn about puppy behavior and training. Classes are held either Friday evenings from 6-7pm at Providence Animal Center. Class fee is $125 payable to Providence Animal Center. Please fill out the below form to start the registration process.
Basic Obedience Training
Michelle Frumento, CPDT-KSA, CNWI, of Your Mannerly Mutt, Inc., hosts an intimate class with force-free, positive methods. Skills learned in this 4-week class include basic commands and loose-leash walking. Classes are held on Wednesdays from 12-1pm at Providence Animal Center, in Media. Dogs must be at least 6 months old. Pricing is $100 and payable to Providence Animal Center. Please fill out the below form to start the registration process.
Impulse Control Training
Laura Harrington, of Canine Communication, will host a limited time 4-week impulse-control training course starting on May 5th. The class will teach the following types of impulse control: jumping on people, going to a “place” to settle, loose-leash walking and providing entertainment items to work your dog’s body and mind for mental stimulation (aka enrichment). Classes are held on Saturday mornings from 11am-12pm at Providence Animal Center. The $150 class fee is a full donation to Providence Animal Center.
