Say hello to Perry, the very handsome and sweet young man who is looking for a special place in the world. Perry is tan and white, with a unique look to him, don’t you think? He was rescued from a southern overcrowded shelter and brought to our lifesaving Center, where he is waiting for that special someone to change his life while spending time in a foster home. Perry is dog-friendly and wants to live with another dog or even multiple. He loves kids of all ages. He is housebroken and all-around a great dog. He is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on his vaccinations. To meet him, email DVilla@ProvidenceAC.org. If you can’t adopt right now, consider fostering while Providence Animal Center undergoes kennel renovations. Learn more about the foster program here!
Yahtzee was once a homeless kitty with a heavy heart looking for forever, now with the best mommy a cat could ask for. She was sweet when she was with us, but she has only blossomed into a wonderful, outgoing girl.
Her new mom said “Yahtzee is doing just fine! We love her and she’s adjusting.”
We are thrilled to hear this update and we hope there will be more to come!
Meet Puffin, the soft, white male cat looking for a place he can live in someone’s heart and home. Puffin may have some imperfections on the outside, but he is kind-hearted and loving. He was rescued from a local overcrowded shelter and brought to our lifesaving Center, where he is now waiting for a chance at having a real family. Puffin would be best in an adult-only home and would like his home to understand sometimes he likes his alone time. He is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccinations. Cats like him have the always-low adoption fee of $25. When you adopt a cat like him, you can adopt a second cat at no fee. Adopt a homeless pet to welcome the fall season!
Junior was one of the lucky boys adopted on Clear the Shelters Day back in August. Clear the Shelters is a day where all pets have waived fees for one day only.
His mom gave us an update:
“Junior is doing amazing! We’ve named him Henry! He’s the perfect dog and we are so in love with him. We are so thankful for everything and we’ve never been happier! He’s so well behaved and the sweetest boy. Our families fell in love with him right away and he made fast friends with our families dogs. We couldn’t be happier!”
We are so happy Junior has such a great life.
Say hello to Tracy, the sweet girl who is pleasantly plump looking for a forever home. She is a tad on the heavy side, so a family who will encourage her to go on walks and have a nutritious diet would be best. She was brought to our lifesaving Center, where she is now waiting with her friends to find families. Tracy is dog-friendly and best with older kids. She is spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccinations. . If you can’t adopt right now, consider fostering while Providence Animal Center undergoes kennel renovations.
