June is Adopt a Shelter Cat Month, and we love our feline friends here at the Adoption Center. Cats and kittens make the best companions and have the biggest hearts, that’s why you want to keep up on your best friend’s health as well as their companionship.
We recently had a Cat Spay Day that was so popular, we added a second one on July 18th. Spay Day is a day where we reduce the spay/neuter fee to $15 and we reduce our core vaccination fees to $10. We are making an effort to help reduce the unwanted litter problem in the community. Not only does spay/neutering your cat help stop them from having unwanted litters, it also helps your cat live a longer, healthier life. It reduces the risk of urinary infections and breast cancer, which tends to be about a 90% fatality rate for unspayed cats. It also reduces the chance of testicular cancer in male cats and reduces the risk of contracting a pyometra, which could end your best friend in the emergency room. Spay/neutering your cat has many health benefits, and we all just want to do right by our pets!

If you are looking to add a baby kitten to your family stop by our Cattery. Until July 4, kittens are adopt one, get one at no fee, and cats have waived fees! Our pets come fixed, microchipped and with their necessary vaccinations.
And remember, please don’t litter!
