“Hello, I am Sailor and I share some attributes with Denzel Washington, Bruce Willis, Bill Murray and Samuel L. Jackson. That is, I am a senior who looks a little tousled, but who is ready to be your star. I have the maturity not to waste my time chasing imaginary mice (been there; done that), and the calm confidence that comes from a life well-lived. I know what I enjoy. I love to roll in catnip, nap on a soft blanket, look thoughtfully and meaningfully through the window, relax in your company and enjoy treats. I can quietly enjoy being on my own if you’re away from home. I know my way around the litter box.
I was found as a stray, but I have loved, I know how to love and I’m ready to love again – for my type. Give me slow pets and ear and head scratches at my pace and I’m yours. I’ll gently let you know if I’ve had enough.
But, please, no drama, chaos or commotion. So, high school aged children and older for me please. I have gotten along with some cats and some dogs at the adoption center with a patient and proper introduction.
I have FIV, a disease cats get either from their mother or from other cats. Generally cats can live a long life with it. Just keep me indoors and treat me like royalty. I am ready to be your leading man, the sweet elder statesman of your heart!
I am move-in-ready:
If you are interested in adopting me or meeting me in person, please schedule an appointment here. My paws are crossed I will see you soon!

Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.
No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.
Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!
Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
